The Martel Goth Creeper's history goes 56 years back to the 1960, when soldiers with their rocked sturdy, crepe-soled army boots did a dance at London Clubs called The Creep. This distinctive look of the shoe has been brought back to today's culture and it had also been adopted by various previous subcultures such as punk and Goth. This modern day adoption is actually inspired by Goth subculture. The look of the shoe during THE Goth subculture has been refined to make it suitable for modern day culture, with a finely pointed toe, paisley decorated Leather, silver buckle and of course the air cushioned sole represents the classic Doc DNA. The shoe is made with Dr. Martens iconic AirWair Bouncing Soles and it is Oil-and- Fat resistant with substantial abrasion and slip resistance. It is a Goodyear Welted product which means the upper and sole are sewn together in Dr. Martens unique heat-sealed z-welt stitch for increased comfort and luxury. The Martel Creeper is made of classic durable smooth Dr. Martens leather with smooth finish and with blocks of paisley smooth, high-shine, fully-pigmented leather decorated with archetypal paisley design.
